Last year I took a walk around the Philly Art Museum area and took some shots that I thought had some potential. While processing them recently I found that they worked much better in B&W format. My general rule of thumb is to experiment with B&W on images that have very strong visual elements, and little contribution by the color of the subject matter. These images of the art museum fit the criteria to a “T”. Below are two of my favorites from this day, and I’ll post more in following posts.
